GardMem-1000
The GardMem-1000 is a flexible, sheet-applied waterproofing membrane and vapor retarder, engineered for use in various tile and stone applications. It effectively prevents water penetration and moisture-related damage, reducing the risk of mold and mildew growth. This makes it ideal for walls around shower and bathtub, intermittent-use steam showers, and other areas requiring vapor management. Fabricated with a soft thermoplastic polymer core and non-woven polypropylene fleece on both sides, GardMem-1000 securely bonds to a wide range of tile materials, including ceramic, porcelain, and stone. It can be installed over solid walls and floor substrates such as gypsum wallboards, cement backer boards, and mortar bases.

GardMem-2000
The GardMem-2000 is a high-performance, sheet-applied waterproofing and vapor management membrane with exceptionally low vapor permeability. Designed for wet and high humidity environments, including continuous-use steam showers, it delivers superior protection compared to the standard GardMem-1000. Featuring a high-density polyethylene core with a specialized non-woven fleece on both sides, GardMem-2000 acts as an advanced vapor barrier, safeguarding substrates from moisture damage, mold, and mildew. Its unique fleece backing ensures a strong bond to both the substrate and the thin-set mortar, making it compatible with ceramic, porcelain, and stone tile installations.
